Designing the costumes for The Misanthrope allowed me to learn so many things, like the general production process, whether I could handle doing this for a career, whether I wanted to do this as a career. Plus, it gave me time to learn from mistakes in an environment that gave me freedom and real experience, while still having that safety net. The experience allowed me to get into a top grad school and gave me the confidence to chase after what I want.
