What is your teaching style?
As a current practicing Acute Care Registered Nurse, I am able to bring current nursing knowledge and practice in alignment with the courses and simulations I teach. Additionally, by incorporating evidence-based teaching strategies and utilizing innovative technologies, I aim to create a dynamic and stimulating classroom environment that fosters enthusiasm and promotes active learning.

Ask all the questions, engage in discussion, and be open to receiving feedback.
What do you enjoy outside the classroom?
I am a sports loving, outdoor enthusiast, who loves having fun and keeping my three littles busy!
What is your favorite class to teach?
All simulations because they enhance clinical skills, promote critical thinking and clinical reasoning, bridge the gap between theory and practice, and encourage interprofessional collaboration, and ethical, and professional development, all within a safe learning environment.
Where is your favorite place on campus/in St Peter?
I love a good fall run through the arb and a warm vanilla latte at River Rock!
