What campus traditions are your favorite?

The Nobel Conference is my favorite tradition/event. It’s always a great opportunity to learn about new topics and think about how the topic connects to the work we do in Psychology.

What is your favorite class to teach?

My favorite class to teach is PSY344: The Psychology of Self-Compassion. This is an upper level seminar that gives students the opportunity to read and discuss recent studies in the field of self-compassion. It’s always great to see how the students incorporate things they have learned throughout their college careers into the research studies we read!
